Community involvement
Wakehurst Public School values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
The Wakehurst Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) brings together parents, carers, staff and community members who are passionate about supporting our students. By working in partnership with the school, we help shape a positive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. The P&C gives families a voice in the life of the school, fostering strong connections and shared responsibility for our children’s learning and wellbeing.
Join our P&C
Everyone is welcome at our P&C meetings—whether you want to stay informed, share your ideas or simply connect with other parents and carers. Meetings are held twice a term:
- Week 3 – via Zoom, 7:00pm
- Week 8 – in the school staffroom, 7:00pm
There’s no need to join a committee or take on a formal role. Just come along, listen in or contribute when you feel ready. Being part of the P&C is a great way to stay connected, have your say and support the school—whether you help once or often.
