Positive Behaviour for Learning
We have implemented the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning, and have replaced school rules with our three school expectations of:
- Respect
- Responsibility, and
- Personal Best
Our school mascot is 'Winter the Wise Owl'. Winter can be found on signage in all settings around our school.
Students are rewarded with 'Wakehurst Wise' cards for consistently following our school expectations and can use these to exchange for Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
How the reward system works
Students are expected to act according to theschool's values.
The merit system includes 'Wakehurst WiseAwards'.
Self discipline in the playground, classroom and alllearning centres will be rewarded with a'Wakehurst Wise Award'.
Students are responsible for collecting their 'WiseAwards' to work towards the following levels ofachievement.
